Maple Pumpkin Butter

We’re back in the saddle with our monthly Really Healthy recipes over at The Magazine of Yoga and this month is the perfect way to throw a little balance into your turkey-filled Thanksgiving week.  A nice twist on your classic pumpkin butter.  No heat necessary — just mix in creamy greek yogurt for a festive and healthy spread!  Check out The Magazine of Yoga for the complete recipe.

    Hi Natalie
    I always love to see that you have sent a new Daily Crave!
    Last week I made your cinnamin shortbread cookies–the filling was delicious! They were a hit with the ladies I shared them with!
    Now, the pumpkin butter sounds wonderful–any suggestions for serving.

    • Hi Mrs. Swon — I’m so glad the cookies were a hit! Aside from toast, bagels, bread, etc. it’s also delicious on pancakes and waffles, oatmeal, granola-yogurt parfait, and even on crackers with peanut butter! I put some on vanilla ice cream with some graham crackers for Grant and he loved it! Hope that helps. Happy Thanksgiving!
